A cumulative journey
Time becomes a fluid and foldable thing, in the mirror of memories.
I wrote this as an extended writing exercise to process an argument I had, reflecting on what was said and unsaid. It sat in a notebook for a while as the sting of it faded with time and then, having discovered the potential and possibility of interactive fiction, I began working it into a navigable form in Twine. Now, almost a year after I first wrote down the words, Reflections is an interactive canto of four different paths hosted by Philome.
Please be aware that within this poem I reference directly and indirectly the following: slurs, mental health and moral/existential arguments. Tread carefully, remember you can always click out and practice self-care.
