Molds and masks

This is the most personal project I’ve ever published, and despite knowing that some of the most intensely beautiful art comes from breathtaking vulnerability I feel a little off-kilter. Chest is the first ink painted project I’ve done; five pieces painted in black sumi ink with Japanese style calligraphy brushes. It’s a meditation of sorts on anatomy and the inherent conflict to being masculine leaning, AFAB non-binary.
